Third Party Administrator (TPA)
TPA’s are required for all Self-Insured Companies. Many Insurers also use the TPA’s to assist in the management
and payment of claims.
They are called Third Party because they are a
disinterested party to the claim. They
manage the claim for both the interests of the Insurer and the Insured.
Fees associated with the TPA will be included in the premium you pay.
